Give Back Together: Celebrating 40 Years of Community Impact

For 40 years, the Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) has partnered with local businesses, families, and community members to support students and educators across the Snohomish School District.

Now, in celebration of SEF’s 40th Anniversary, we’re inviting the entire business community to join us in giving back — together.

Introducing the SEF Community Giveback Campaign

Throughout 2026, local businesses are invited to partner with SEF by hosting a Giveback Event that supports students in our community.

This campaign is designed to be simple, flexible, and meaningful. Every participating business helps expand opportunities for local students while demonstrating the incredible generosity that makes Snohomish special.

Why Participate?

When businesses participate, they are helping:

  • Fund classroom innovation and teacher grants
  • Provide scholarships for graduating seniors
  • Support academic enrichment programs
  • Remove barriers so every student has access to opportunity

Your participation shows customers, employees, and the community that your business believes in investing locally — in the students who will become our future workforce, leaders, and neighbors.

It’s also an opportunity to:

  • Strengthen community visibility
  • Engage customers around a shared cause
  • Celebrate SEF’s 40th Anniversary alongside other local partners
  • Be recognized as a business that gives back to Snohomish students

How It Works — It’s Simple!

  1. Choose a date or timeframe
    Select a day, week, month, or promotion period that works for your business.
  2. Decide how you want to give back
    Design a promotion or event that fits your business model.
  3. Share your plan with SEF
    We’ll coordinate messaging and promotion.
  4. SEF promotes your business
    Participating businesses will be highlighted throughout the year as part of the 40th Anniversary campaign.

Ways Your Business Can Participate

Not sure if your business fits? Almost any business can join. Ideas include:

  • Percentage of sales donated for a day, week, month, or year
  • Featured product benefiting SEF
  • Special event, workshop, or class
  • Round-up donations at checkout
  • Weekend or seasonal promotion
  • Service-based fundraiser
  • Home party or hosted community event
