Record-Breaking Crowd and Fundraising at Snohomish Education Foundation Auction

Nearly 400 attendees helped raise over $460,000 to support Snohomish students and schools.

 

The Snohomish Education Foundation’s (SEF) Annual Auction presented by Snohomish Storage on November 1 at Tulalip Resort raised more than $460,000 thanks to nearly 400 generous donors—a record total and the highest attendance in the event’s history. Proceeds will fund SEF’s programs, which include classroom grants, scholarships, trades grants, and essential needs support across the Snohomish School District. 

 “We are beyond grateful for the community’s support of this event,” said event co-chair Keeley Reinhard. “This auction has become a much-anticipated celebration of our students, staff, and community. Heading into SEF’s 40th anniversary next year, it’s inspiring to see this level of local generosity and support.” 

 In addition to the live event, SEF’s online auction generated over $10,000 from participants near and far. “We’ve heard from former residents, alumni, and staff who want to stay involved,” said Erica Cenci, SEF’s Executive Director. “The online auction gives them that opportunity.” 

 Cenci expressed deep gratitude to everyone involved: “The words ‘thank you’ hardly seem adequate. This community truly believes in the power of education and continues to show up for our students. It’s amazing to be a part of.”

In the 2024–25 school year, SEF awarded $100,000 in classroom grants to Snohomish School District schools, funding projects that enhanced learning, student well-being, and engagement. The Class of 2025 received $360,450 in scholarships, including new awards for students pursuing trades and apprenticeship pathways. 

 SEF’s Annual Fund provided $78,000 for summer programs such as Summer Academy, Credit Recovery, and open library access, helping students stay on track academically.
