Announcing the SEF Local Scholarship Program – 2025 Awards Cycle

The Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 SEF Local
Scholarship Program, which provides financial support to graduating seniors from Glacier Peak, Snohomish,
and AIM High Schools. Funded by generous community donors, these scholarships help students pursue
higher education, vocational training, and other career pathways after graduation.

This year, the SEF will directly provide over $75,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. With the addition of
recently updated scholarship software, SEF is now able to provide even more opportunities for students,
hosting more scholarship opportunities from businesses, families and organizations throughout the community.
Whether pursuing a university degree, community college, or a trade program, SEF scholarships help remove
financial barriers and empower students to succeed.

Graduating seniors can apply for SEF scholarships through our new online scholarship portal at
https://snoed.awardspring.com/. Students will be able to apply for all local community scholarships, as well as
SEF-specific scholarships.

SEF Trades Fund Grant Application – New for 2025!

As an extension of the SEF Local Scholarship Program, SEF is launching a SEF Trades Fund Grant program
to support graduating Snohomish School District students pursuing careers in the trades. This program
provides financial assistance for training, certifications, tools, and other expenses in fields like construction,
automotive technology, welding, electrical work, plumbing, cosmetology and more.
By investing in trades, SEF helps students access industry certifications, apprenticeships, and specialized
training for stable, well-paying careers.

Applications are open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis through August 2025. Applicants must be
2025 graduates of the SSD. Students should apply at: https://forms.gle/aKZZNYSA3HGbTTx3A

Notifications of grant awards will be made as reviews are completed of the applications.
